About Us
Youlia Doneva
Ms. Doneva is an award-winning dancer who completed her ballet training at the Sofia School of Ballet in Sofia, Bulgaria. After graduating, she danced professionally as a company member, guest artist, and choreographer throughout Europe before moving to the United States and opening a successful studio in Los Angeles, which she ran for 14 years. In 2013 she and her family decided to make the Big Island of Hawaii home, and she opened the Doneva Ballet School shortly after arriving.

Ms. Doneva teaches using a unique pedagogic approach based on the famed Vaganova method that builds clean, classical technique while bringing out the graceful dancer in each student.
